This in-person training allows students to obtain the necessary knowledge and skills required for the safe handling of propane powered heaters and equipment, as specified by the TSSA and Ministry of Labour.

Topics include:

  • Safe use of torches and heaters under 400,000 BTU for both vapour and liquid propane systems
  • The hazards of propane
  • Safety devices
  • Safe connecting and disconnecting of cylinders
