Mike Fitzpatrick (New Brunswick, Canada)

Mike started his career serving his community as a First Responder Paramedic and Paramedic Trainer and rose to the rank of Paramedic Supervisor during his 25-year career there. He has been a professional trainer since 1999 in several capacities from training health care professionals to heavy equipment operators. Mike graduated from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton with a Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (C-OHS) and holds several certifications in health-related disciplines. In 2022, Mike joined the team at Sunbelt Rentals as a District Safety Trainer servicing all New Brunswick, Canada.

Mike is inspired by the strong safety culture and safety initiatives Sunbelt Rentals offers to its employees and customers and likes to bring his keen level of safety engagement to his classroom. He is certified to train MEWP, forklift and earthmoving equipment operator certification courses, Fall Protection, Overhead Crane, Scaffolding, Confined Space, WHMIS and Emergency Workplace First-Aid and CPR, Intermediate Workplace First-Aid and CPR.

Mike enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid outdoorsman year-round.
